Summary
Activities
- Planned: Ghost simulation 5:00, gravel, key race-rehearsal ride in Severn, ON.
Coach Luca
- Composition time: 06:30 America/Edmonton, athlete-local 08:30 America/Toronto.
- Readiness state: Unconfirmed.
- Specialist participation decided before drafting: recovery, nutrition, and endurance consulted; strength not consulted because today's prescription is bike-only and no same-day gym or fresh strength carry-forward decision is required.
Readiness
No overnight or same-morning readiness check-in was visible after the last saved evening note. The most recent canonical daily log is 2026-06-12, with breakfast logged in ## Nutrition, empty Recovery and Endurance sections, and no saved evening summary. June 12 session response remains unconfirmed. Travel is stable in Severn, ON, and Hashimoto's plus back/SI watch items were checked with no new symptom report surfaced.
Planning
Today remains the Ghost simulation, 5:00 gravel race rehearsal. Because readiness is unconfirmed, the message keeps the simulation as the target but adds a conservative execution gate: settle into endurance first, confirm legs, fueling, and back/SI stability, and strip the final-hour pressure if the day does not feel right.
Evidence
Required read order completed with available evidence: inbound athlete messages since the last saved evening note, the most recent canonical Recovery and Nutrition inputs from 2026-06-12, athlete/rolling-7-day.md, athlete/rolling-3-week.md, athlete/context/travel-schedule.md, the most recent available evening-summary evidence in canonical daily logs, and Open-Meteo weather for Severn, ON. Specialist inputs are stale, so confidence is reduced and the day remains Unconfirmed.

Yesterday during my ride I consumed 277g of carbs in drink mix, two gels at 29g carb each, and two fruit source bars at 29g carb each. Carb consumption distribution was higher in the first 3.5 hours with majority of the drink mix, one fruit source bar, and one gel being eaten during that time. In the final 1.5 hours only one fruit source bar and one maple syrup gel was consumed. My stomach began to feel very full at the 3.5 to 4 hr mark, likely due to drinking a lot of water at a refill station. The drink mix was also unappealing after about 3hrs and I was craving plain water to feel refreshed. In total I drank two tall (~750 to 800ml) bottles with carb mix in it, one small/regular bottle (550ml) of plain water, and two more tall bottles of plain water

Morning plan
Today's Plan
**Readiness:** Unconfirmed, no same-morning check-in and June 12 response is still unconfirmed.
**Today’s plan:**
Ghost simulation, 5:00 on gravel. Ride the first 90 min as steady endurance and stay disciplined on pacing. If legs, fueling, and back/SI all feel normal, complete the planned gravel pressure and final-hour race efforts. If the day does not come around by halfway, finish it as steady endurance and skip the final-hour pressure block.
**Fueling:**
Race breakfast, 3 to 4 h before rollout. Start the ride fully fed. On bike, hold 85 to 90 g carbohydrate per hour and 600 to 900 mg sodium per hour from the start, use drink mix plus gel, and finish the first bottle inside the first hour. Log products, timing, fluid, sodium, and any GI response right after.
**Weather:**
Severn, ON 🌦️
27°C / 13°C, light showers
Starts mild and mostly dry, with only a low shower chance and wind building toward 20 km/h later.
Use the early dry window if you can, keep the route simple, and stay patient into the wind rather than forcing pace.
**Monitor:**
Back or SI tightness, unusual systemic heaviness, or any fueling or GI drift in the first half. If any of those show up, remove the final-hour pressure and finish steady.
