Nutrition intake persistence standard
Canonical destinations
- Daily log:
athlete/logs/daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md - Media root:
athlete/logs/media/YYYY-MM-DD/
The canonical human-readable record lives in the daily log, not in staging or routing ledgers.
Heading standard
- Use 24-hour local time labels for item headings.
- In daily date-scoped files, use
### HH:MM. - If two items land in the same minute, suffix later ones as
### HH:MM (2),### HH:MM (3), and so on. - If consumed timing is broad, such as
breakfast, afternoon, orpost-ride, keep that in the body and do not invent a precise time.
Timing standard
- Resolve nutrition timing in the athlete's effective local timezone, using the athlete travel schedule or same-day override when one exists.
- Preserve the system logging timestamp as
Received. - Also record the athlete-local equivalent as
Local. - Use the athlete-local time for the item heading and for any time presented to the athlete unless the athlete explicitly states a different local consumed time.
- Default consumed timing to receipt time unless the athlete states otherwise.
- Preserve
Received,Local, andConsumedas separate facts when athlete context changes the default assumption. - If a reliable consumed date is known, use that consumed date for both the daily-log date and the dated media folder.
- Resolve relative phrases such as
yesterdayagainst the athlete-local message date, not Coach Luca's timezone.
Media standard
- Store nutrition media under dated folders.
- Use clean ordered file names.
- Include the workspace-root-relative media path in the canonical daily-log nutrition entry when media exists.
Logging-content rule
Do not use this file as the source of truth for the item template.
For the required bullet structure, field names, and ~~~ athlete-message blocks, follow logging-entry-template.md.
Use this file only for path, heading, timing, media, and completion rules.
Completion gate
Do not treat the item as handled unless all required persistence work is done.
Minimum completion standard:
- media is copied when media was part of the intake
- the canonical daily log exists
- the intake item appears under
## Nutrition - any required same-day nutrition interpretation is in the same
## Nutritionsection when that interpretation already exists in the same handling pass - when multi-service analysis is part of the handling pass, the comparison block and aggregate estimate are also written into the same nutrition item entry
If those writes do not exist yet, the workflow is not complete.
